Calorie Tracker

Effective date: July 26, 2026

Calorie Tracker helps you record meals, water, weight, workouts, and related fitness information. Your journal and profile information are primarily stored locally on your device.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the Calorie Tracker Android application (“Calorie Tracker,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the app. By using Calorie Tracker, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Information you provide

You may choose to enter the following information:

3. How your journal data is handled

The profile, meal, water, weight, workout, distance, food-library, and preference data described above is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. We do not operate an account system or upload this journal data to our own servers.

If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may back up app data to the Google account or backup service configured on your device. This backup is controlled by Android and your device settings. If you export data, you control where the exported file is stored and with whom it is shared.

4. Information processed by third-party services

The app uses third-party services needed for advertising, purchases, and app operation. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Free users may see advertisements supplied by Google Mobile Ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or receive information such as IP address, advertising and app/device identifiers, advertising interactions, diagnostic information, and general device or app information. Google may use this information to provide, measure, personalize, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising, depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings.

RevenueCat and Google Play Billing

Premium purchases and subscription status are processed using RevenueCat and Google Play Billing. They may process an automatically generated, anonymous app-user identifier; product and entitlement identifiers; purchase or subscription history and status; transaction information; and limited app, device, and technical information required to complete, validate, restore, and manage purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

5. How information is used

Information is used to:

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell the profile or journal information you enter in the app. Information may be processed by Google and RevenueCat as described above to provide ads, billing, purchase validation, analytics related to those services, security, and fraud prevention. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, rights, and safety.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally stored journal and profile data remains on your device until you delete individual records, use Profile → Reset all data, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Files you export remain wherever you save them until you delete them.

Android backups, Google advertising and billing information, and RevenueCat purchase records are retained according to your settings, those providers’ retention policies, and applicable legal requirements. Purchase records may need to be retained for transaction, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal purposes.

8. Security

Local records are kept within the app’s private Android storage. Service providers use encrypted network connections when transmitting information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should protect access to your device and take care when choosing where to save exported files.
